Interior and exterior renovation including new windows, doors and accessibility upgrades.
The 25 South Front Street project consists of interior and exterior renovations to the existing 235,000 square foot building, which houses the Ohio Department of Education as its primary tenant. The project scope of work includes the replacement of existing aluminum storefront entry doors, frames and hardware as well as the installation of roll up aluminum floor mats and the associated patching and of existing terrazzo flooring in the entry vestibules. Also included in the scope, is the improvement of an ADAAG compliant ramp and the addition of accessible handrails. Roofing repairs and other weatherproofing related improvements are also a part of the project. The mechanical and electrical scope of work involves the replacement and upgrade of the stair pressurization system, the ground and first floor cooling and humidity control systems, and limited plumbing and sanitary upgrades.
