City of Columbus Holds Ceremonial Groundbreaking for New Police Substation

The City of Columbus, Ohio held a groundbreaking ceremony for the New Far North Neighborhood Policing Center at 8118 Sancus Blvd on Wednesday, October 10th. The previously undeveloped site was purchased in 2016 so the City might better serve the residents of the Far North area. Substation 1 will include state-of-the-art technology infrastructure with secured areas for the police personnel as well as a Community / Police Training Room. The station is linked to the community and the Worthington Park Elementary School via a bike path, pedestrian paths, and nearby bus stops.

Site work is currently underway with an anticipated project completion in late 2019.
